Ghost Street

Ghost Street is an award winning initiative* which is designed to make teenagers think twice about road safety.
The innovative Ghost Street resources take young people through everyday life and presents different road safety scenario’s with which they are familiar.Covering a range of the most common road safety problems from distractions such as music players and mobile phones to safety when cycling, seatbelt use and speeding, the resource provides the user with a best practice guide to keeping safe. This is presented as a ‘survival guide’ to maintain the Ghost Street theme.
The resource is designed for use in schools as part of lesson plans for 13+ age groups. It does not give the audience any answers but provides an opportunity to use the scenarios as discussion points. This effective resource enables the teacher to get the class talking about the characters, discuss what is likely to have happened to the characters and explore the reasons why.
The resource contains simple and effective facts that the teacher can use to back up the discussion and bring reality to the hard hitting fictional scenarios.
