Helping Learners Pass First Time

TSO publishes the entire portfolio of official driving and riding titles for the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), the people who set the tests.

Learners can prepare to pass first time with the official DSA range of impartial, informative and authoritative books, CD-ROMs and DVDs.

The theory test is made up of two parts: multiple choice and hazard perception. Learners need to pass both to pass the theory test. Candidates take a touch screen computer test and have to answer 50 questions in 57 minutes. The pass mark for the multiple choice part of the theory test is 43 out of 50.

The driving test is straightforward and has been designed to ensure learners can drive safely and know The Official Highway Code, and can demonstrate this through their driving.
