Helping keep Rochdale families safer

The Impact partnership in Rochdale has been showing parents how to keep the family safer in the car.
 
RSO Dave Godley visited the Howard Street Sure Start Children’s Centre to carry out safety checks on child car seats and instruct parents how to fit them correctly. 

Dave said: "Not surprisingly, out of 100 checks carried out 85 seats were found to be incorrectly fitted - and in some cases it was the wrong seat for the vehicle."
