DSA updates 'essential skills' publication

To help drivers prepare for the worsening winter driving conditions and brush up on their skills, the DSA has released a new edition of ‘The Official DSA Guide to Driving – the essential skills’.

Published by TSO, the new edition is packed with information for drivers of every level. The book provides source material for theory test learners, as well as trainee driving instructors.

This revised edition still includes information on maneuvering, driving in adverse weather conditions, driving on motorways, driving at night, and what to do in an emergency. It has also been updated to include information on the new independent driving part of the practical test, driving through road works, following emergency diversion routes and advice on overtaking slow-moving vehicles.

TSO offers Road Safety GB members a 25% discount on official DSA publications when ordered online. Click here to order and enter code ‘RSGB’ at the checkout when prompted.

For more information contact Emma Franklin at TSO on 01603 694497.
