Resource provides basic training for SCPs
A small quantity of a resource reprinted by Road Safety GB in 2009, which provides basic training for school crossing patrols, is available for purchase.
The DVD is designed to be shown to new patrols before they start work or to experienced SCPs as a reminder of the basics.
The film provides information and guidelines on a number of different scenarios that SCPs may have to deal with. It also covers uniform regulations, complex crossing points and adverse weather conditions.
While the film shows how to operate on a number of different locations it is not intended to replace on site training by supervisors.
