Background informationThe 2011 conference and exhibition, held at The Queen Hotel, Chester in November 2011 was fully subscribed and a resounding success. More than 200 delegates and 20 exhibitors attended, and it is anticipated that similar numbers will attend in 2012.The 2012 event is being hosted by Road Safety GB London region and will be held at The Britannia International Hotel, Canary Wharf, 14-15 November 2012. The event is being promoted to more than 200 local authority road safety teams, police forces, fire services and government departments and other stakeholders including the DfT, PACTS and the Highways Agency etc. The conference will comprise three sessions on the afternoon of Wednesday 14 November, and the morning and afternoon of Thursday 15 November. The project team anticipates being in a position to publish an outline conference agenda during March 2012. The exhibitionA small exhibition will run alongside the conference. Places at the exhibition will be allocated on a strictly 'first come, first served' basis – for the past three years it has been fully-subscribed.We will be limiting the exhibition to around 25 stands in order to ensure delegates have a fair chance of visiting all stands. The exhibition will be held in a room adjacent to the main conference hall where delegates will take refreshments - lunch on both days, tea/coffee, and pre-dinner drinks prior to the conference dinner. 'Get in' for exhibitors will be during the morning of 14 November and 'Get out' will be immediately after the end of the event. We are offering two stand sizes and a full residential package for those requiring accommodation and who would like to attend the conference sessions and conference dinner. Prices start at £495 plus VAT and the full pricing/option schedule is as follows: Exhibition only
