Better, Safer Communities: the contribution from street design

Royal Society of Medicine, One Wimpole Street, London

Organised by PACTS

This conference will offer an opportunity to reflect on the challenges facing urban development. Can we ensure environments that are good for walking and cycling and offer improved safety? To what extent do current practices help or hinder the development of new approaches? How can we balance safety and other policy objectives such as the improvement of the public realm?

For more information visit www.pacts.org.uk or contact Gillian Reeves, conference manager.
